Easter Event 2Archer yawned and stretched, rolling over in his bed, stretching once more before rising slowly from the comfortable mattress. Like yesterday, the weather promised to be warm and bright, and Archer felt his breath quicken with excitement- today was the second day of the town’s easter celebration, and today there was some sort of event going on that was being lead by the tokota association. Archer was eager to bring his tokotas Lima, Foxtrot, and Mocha into town with him for the celebrations. Thankfully this morning there were no tokotas running out in his front yard hunting down bunnies, so Archer had a bit of a better start to today when compared to  yesterday. He made up a quick breakfast for himself before walking out to the tokota barn and getting Lima, Foxtrot, and Mocha all set for the day. He had already decided that he wanted to let Lima and Foxtrot roam loose, and ride into town on Mocha, so he walked up to Lima’s stall and tugged experimentally on her orange
Easter Event 1Archer’s morning started with yipping and howling- he sat up quickly and looked out the window to see some of his tokotas loose- Cherokee, Warrior, and Victor- just in time to see them catch up to and tear apart a small rabbit. Good morning and happy Easter. Archer grumbled and rolled out of bed, pulling on a light jacket and clothes before stalking out of his house to where the tokotas were sitting around the spattered remains of the rabbit, crunching on bones and looking quite pleased with themselves. Archer debated shooing them away, but decided to let Cherokee, Warrior, and Victor clean up what was left of the mess of the easter bunny while he made himself a quick breakfast. Archer paused before heading inside, taking a few moments to enjoy the abnormally warm temperatures and bright skies before returning to the inside of his house to whip up some breakfast.
A half hour later, Archer was all set to go for the day, and had decided to take Cherokee, Warrior, and Victor out wit
Caving Lit 1Archer waved from Quebec’s back as Myrria and Sammy rode up his driveway. The large yeti padded forwards under his handler’s guidance as the two walked up to greet the other tokota and rider pair. Archer had called up Myrria and invited her over for a nice day of roaming around the mountainside- it was too nice of a spring day to not get outdoors and give some of his tokotas exercise. Quebec padded over to Sammy, nosing at the yeti’s thick fur while he sniffed down her neck, getting used to her scent while their handlers talked a bit about the weather and their going- ons, before turning the conversation to what they were going to be doing today.
“I found an arrowhead on the side of one of the hills towards Tahoe Mountain, and I was hoping that we could head out that way and see if we could look around for some more.” Archer said, and Myrria nodded.

Exploration lit 4Archer kicked at a pile of melting snow, somewhat frustrated. He was out camping with his friends Val, Raejissa, Aidyn, and Hazel, and their tokotas Kanel, Miracle, T. T., Dayan, and North. Their original plan was to go check out a frozen lake and possibly crack a hole in it and fish, but the warm weather had turned their frozen lake into a barely frozen lake that might have supported one or two of the handlers and North, but wouldn’t hold the weight of one of the tokotas- Kanel had tried and promptly broken through, and T. T. had been wise enough not to follow Kanel for his swim. This had left the handlers mostly sitting around chatting aimlessly, or taking their tokotas out with another handler to look around. While the day was warm, low clouds had made sure they weren’t seeing any impressive views, and the tokotas weren’t picking up any scents of prey to hunt. Miracle and Dayan had been chasing each other around playfully, while Kanel, T. T., and North had spent mo

Papa Tunde and Taleesha quietly trotted alongside the brunette and Voltaire, each carrying leather bags attached to their saddles. The Tokotas would occasionally exhale loudly, not that they were tired, but simply to break the silence that so annoyed them. Kelly took the opportunity to reminisce and she began singing a soft tune, Voltaire and the pair slowly waving their heads from side to side as Kelly sang it over and over again, the peaceful notes bringing tranquility into their troubled minds. Kelly realised they were getting close to where she and Archer were to meet, so she decided to brief Papa Tunde on how he should act around a lady. “Tango is always on her best behaviour. Or at least I expect her to. Don’t disappoint me darling. Be a gentleman.” Kelly said with a smile, her mind wandering off far away from Tokotas and best behaviours. Papa Tunde nodded silently and Kelly resumed singing, this time a different song, more fit to be sang in a pub rather
Mountain Goat Lit 3Archer’s relatively quiet morning of taking care of his tokotas was interrupted by his phone ringing. He heard it from across the yard and tilted his head- he wasn’t expecting any calls today, but none the less walked inside and picked up. After a somewhat rushed conversation with a frustrated individual on the other line, Archer sprang into action. Apparently quite a few mountain goats, a whole herd according to the man on the phone, had decided to wander into town and were now playing hop along on the roofs, many of which had some sort of metal that rang with each hoof hitting it. Naturally, the folks living in town were hesitant to deal with them- approaching them was out of the question, and a rifle would scare and panic them, putting the folks living in town at risk, so Archer had been called in to use his tokotas to move them out of town. He ran through his tokotas in his head, figuring out which would be the best to take along with him, and settled on Victor, Nessie,
Exploration lit 3Archer yanwed and stretched, rolling over slightly on his sleeping bag and catching a few more minutes of sleep before finally straightening up and stretching. He was out camping with his friends Val, Suki, Raejissa, and Aidyn, as well as their tokotas Victor, Miracle, Qasar, T.T, and Dayan. The previous day had been spent trecking up the side of a nearby mountain, and they were camped just over the ridge. The night had been a bit cold and windy, but with the warmer weather recently the chill hadn’t been too much of a problem for Archer, his friends, and their tokotas. He appeared to be the first one up after a quick glance around the tents, though a Qasar and T.T. were already awake. Of course Archer’s presence caused T.T. to bark happily and pad over for an ear scratch, waking Victor, Miracle, and Dayan, as well as some of Archer’s friends.
